The word conjures up images of cruelty, pain and screams such as during the inquisitions. According to the dictionary: Noun The tendency to derive pleasure, especially sexual gratification, from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on others. But, it’s not the same for everyone. Just like BDSM has different degrees of involvement, so does sadism. Some will say unless you are drawing blood or causing lasting suffering, it isn’t sadism. Others say unless you climax while giving the pain or humiliation, it isn’t sadism. Is tickling or withholding orgasm sadistic? I know of no barometer or other gauge to judge what is and isn’t sadism. It is all in the eyes of the beholder. What is for some, isn’t for others Sadism runs the gamut of soft to extreme, and everyone can have a different interpretation. So before you start playing with someone that says they are a sadist, you better have a good idea just how far they go. If you have never played with an extreme sadist before, only mild sadists, you will be in for a very unpleasant surprise, possibly bloody and traumatic. Know who you are playing with, don’t take it for granted that your definitions of sadism or any kink it the same as someone else’s. Know how far they will go and what you can handle. I just say it in my own words from my 40 years of experience for those that may not have read the books out there, may not have any experience or any knowledge whatsoever to lean on when entering the Lifestyle." It's not about credibility, it's about you and others preaching almost every day! A lower level, a beginner level, a "small" entry is therefore impossible, in my opinion... Not everyone is sun god! My photo and name will NEVER appear on social media! Once published you will NEVER get it back! This is what you should know, you old hand!!!
