The old saying goes, “faith can move mountains.”
Religions preach faith in the almighty.
Personally, I’ve always thought faith is blind. I’d rather have something more concrete to consider than blind faith in anything.
Blind faith, in the BDSM Lifestyle, can get you seriously harmed.
It’s easier for a Dominant to have faith in a submissive, although still not the safest thing to do.
A submissive having blind faith in a Dominant is asking for trouble.
Faith, like trust and respect, should be earned.
Faith won’t move a predator into a respectable Dominant.
Faith won’t breath lifesaving breath into your lungs after choking play goes too far because the Dominant didn’t know what they were doing.
Faith won’t mend dislocations when the Dominant isn’t alert during an extreme bondage session.
If these things happen because you had confidence and trust in the Dominant that was built over time and was truly accidental, it’s one thing. If these things happen because you use faith with a newer partner, you have brought it on yourself by not properly considering the risks and trusting in faith to protect you.
Someone you can trust implicitly is not an easy thing to do. Protect yourself with common sense, not faith, until you find that person.

You have spoken the truth.
Your previous post did make me laugh. Maybe for other reasons than others here.
