A simple term with great meaning in the BDSM Lifestyle.
Dominants expect it from their submissives as much as they want the submissive’s obedience and devotion.
But it’s what the submissive expects from the Dominant that may be more important in the realm of honor.
The submissive expects, should demand, that the Dominant honor all agreements, all limits, Safewords, boundaries and tolerances.
A Dominant that lacks Honor fails to live up to standards of care for the submissive.
A Dominant without honor cannot be trusted to see to the best interests of the submissive before the Dominant’s own interests. If the Dominant is selfish, they lack honor to at least some degree.
A submissive that lacks honor can be punished and disciplined if the Dominant chooses, (or can) before any decision is made on whether to continue with or end the dynamic.
The submissives only choice is whether to leave or stay if the Dominant lacks honor.
Trust and respect are closely linked to Honor. Look closely during vetting and throughout the dynamic. If there is no honor or it wanes, problems are sure to arise going forward.

Good point Ron. The way I see it IF my BF and I are around other people it's part of my job to always make HIM look good. But he already looks good-❤️ so I really just help him look even better... Ha☺️

A Dominant without honor is not a true Dominant. How would you classify him?

A fake and probably a predator

Intriguing. I am not sure I would want a submissive who does not have honor. I shall have to think about that some more....

few would. Only the ones that really enjoy having reason to punish.
