Perfection

The majority of people in the world know that perfection is not attainable.
The few that don’t understand that are probably not people you want as a partner in the BDSM Lifestyle.
Olympic scoring notwithstanding, perfection is a great thing to try to achieve, but we should not be disappointed when we come up a bit short. Nor should we be disappointed when our partner comes up short in their attempts.
What we should want from our partners is their very best effort. Expecting more than that is unfair to your partner and to yourself.
Utopia exists only in fantasy. In the real world we must deal with imperfections all around us. The key is to accept that we are all imperfect, that life is imperfect.
There is no perfect BDSM dynamic, set of protocols, perfect flogger, even perfect toys.
Dynamics have rough patches, protocols, while agreed on, can have items that either partner may have issues with, even a flogger off an assembly line has flaws, and toys wear out and need to be replaced.
Ask a couple married for 50 or 60 or 75 years if everything was perfect, and they will tell you no. Everything takes work and the effort to do the best you can.
If I can get that from my partner, I’d give her a score of 10 anytime.

Unrealistic expectations is typical around here. Explains why guys post a dick pic and then expect pussy to conveniently drop right into their laps. Unrealistic expectations... Ha☺️
