This is a word with multiple meanings for us. We have a responsibility to care for our partner. Not just about them, but taking care of them day to day and especially when they are sick or just feeling down. Partners are not someone you just care about when they are healthy and can give to what you desire. When they are not feeling 100% is when caring really comes out or is found to be lacking. If you can’t take care of your partner when they are less than 100%, then you don’t deserve them. We also hae a responsibility to care about how we conduct ourselves in the dynamic. How we go about our role as a Dominant or submissive. Being in a dynamic and not caring how you do things is disrespectful to a partner that gives you their all. Not caring about what you do and what happens will soon have your partner searching to get out of the dynamic. A responsibility we to ourselves is to take care when making choices about, and in, the dynamic. Taking care to choose a partner, select limits and protocols, and taking special care to assess the risks involved in what we will do and partake in. We should be proud of the care we take in all of these circumstances because it shows our partner how much they mean to us.
