We are all capable of making mistakes. Fallibility is not a crime, it is human nature. The trick in a BDSM Lifestyle dynamic or relationship is to tell the difference from true fallibility and what is done on purpose in the guise of a mistake or accident. Trust and respect depends on honesty and communication. When someone constantly says they made a mistake or something was an accident, it can make the partner wonder about the truth of these mistakes and accidents. Dominants that are mistake and accident prone will be difficult to trust, if at all. Doubt will follow them. Even mistake and accident prone submissives will get tedious to put up with. Some fallibilities, though, are just not something that can be put up with or forgiven. Lies, cheating and ignoring limits, boundaries and capabilities are very difficult to forgive once, let alone a second time. These are things that are done on purpose.
