Reassure

Most people, at some time or another need to have someone reassure them about something.
In the BDSM Lifestyle, reassurance is often necessary for one reason or another.
Dominants need to be reassuring with submissives when a submissive falters or is doubtful about something. The reassurance should be a positive discussion, not a manipulative or coercive talk. There are times submissives have self-doubts about their abilities and need to be reassured that the Dominant has trust and faith in them, that whatever they did wrong and couldn’t do is not the end of the world, or the dynamic.
In the same way, submissive’s sometimes need to reassure the Dominant when the Dominant errs. When the Dominant accidently harms the submissive or has a bad day. It is up to the submissive to give reassurance that the submissive is OK and that they understand and trust that the action was not a trend in the wrong direction.
This isn’t to say that excuses should be made by either partner for actions that are consistently in the wrong. That is not a time for reassurance, but a time for serious discussion on how to stop the actions or end the dynamic. We should never tolerate behavior that is not acceptable or outside our agreements and consent.

one of the greatest feelings is to give her the reassurance that she is beautiful and courageous no matter how much or how little she takes on.
