At the risk of being redundant as I am sure everyone is feeling a bit disconnected and out of sorts after these last two years. Regardless of where you stand on covid and vaccines masks etc. it is hard to imaging our world now two years ago. Think of someone telling you all that has happened the last two years in February 2020. You would sound like a nut case, and yet we have had lockdowns protests, counter protests all the while thousands of people are dying each week. The images of refrigerated trucks next to hospitals is still haunting as was hospital parking lots used for treating people and the overwhelming response seems to be, it is a mild cold for most.

I had to be in the hospital last year for a surgery and had complication and stayed in for 3 days. No one could visit, had to be carried out by EMTs, even at home friends couldn't really come by. I havent seen some family for the past two years without feeling nervous about getting them sick let alone meeting for groups or munches. At this point I feel like a need to reset and make a special effort to reach out to friends and family and check in and really try to stay connected or reconnect. Hope this community can help us all feel a bit more connected and help each other heal from this massive disruption of life on so many levels. Peace
