went to the french market, lots of crappy old stuff like the worst car boot sale youve ever seen. but some intresting stuff too. nearly bought a large white very old bird cage for 10 E, but i dont think it would fit in my car, why i hear you asking? i have no idea either.
adrian bought a hat and coat stand that we drove home with sticking out the roof of his range rover, found a few english people who come over just to do this and one other market buy stuff and take back to uk and flog it there at higher prces.

we had a dinner party here last night. mainly as i bought 4 huanches of venison with me. addrian had said before i came he might have a couple of friends round but that turned into 12 in the end.

the venison i addedd some breast of duck, rabit and pheasant to. heated it up with red wine bayleafs garlic and leeks. in a sort of stew affair. the mash with radish mixed in went down a treat, and the broad beans with fenell l butter too.

and chocolate torte i bought at the bakers for pud.

today i drove to st lo, as adrian was fast asleep till noon, so i didnt go to the chocolate shop, i didnt buy and chocolates from there and i didnt get andy a 1.5 meter long harribow type sweety and i didnt get ex some diet low cal diabetic unfriendly orange, banana or milky ganash sweets either! nor have i got them some more really nice rose or red wine, dont want to be encouraging alchol abuse do we? lol

found a aldi open so bought some monk fish for lunch today, oysters spider crab and smoked hake and ell. to make a fishy soup for a staters then the braised monk fish in white wine and sun dried toms and oilives. All the super markets have huge fresh fish counters and its really cheap, cheaper than meat, though 1 aldi plasric bag of shopping came to 40e, about 4 times uk proces, so apart from the freedom of movement, being out of tge eu isnt that bad maybe after all.?
