Lonely #inthenorth Single, poly, NB, femme, ALT, FAT BBW in the north is lonely and not seeking? Wait. You're not seeking a relationship at the momet? Not really....I am so out of practice and guess what? I am a past sex worker who has had out of sex work relationship worth mentioning. My story begins with me, a year old fresh out of highschool , moves to the city of Vancouver. I attended college for semester and than I dropped out! From the drop out stemmed my dive into the mysterious world of sex work! It was 2004, and the winter had just passed. We were easing into sprin g in Greater Vancouver. I had officially dropped out of college and was in need of fast. AT the time, there was a newspaper called The Georgia Straight, and this is still in publication. You may have read the Savage Love letters!! I picked the paper and in the back iunder classifieds was ad for "entertainers, ----girls + make 00 daily!!!" or something to that tune. I called the number: "Hello, Madame Cleo's" says a smoky femme voice. "I'm calling about the listing in the Georgia...?" i speak confidently into the phone. "Yes, are you + and have valid ID?" asks smokey voice. I answer: Yes, I have valid ID. When should I come in and where are you located? It's the day of the "interview" and I have made my way to the infamous Madame Cleo's in DT Vancouver. I'm wearing early 2000's make in shimery eyeshadow on my dark copper complexion and it's dazzling. My hair is short, I wear the bangs clipped with butterfly clips and lots of gel. My lips have super shiny gloss, it looks like glass, it's so thick and glossy. I have cat eyeliner, accentuating my slanted eyes. They ar e deep brown and nearly black, I have thin eyebrows and a nose piercing. I'm 5'1, so I wear platforms which take me to 5'5. I have a halter top and denim skirt that is light denim, I am tanned because I go to tanning beds to get even darker than my natural tanned complexion. I love to wear light tones to make my complexion look more tanned. I arrive early for my interview and I see there are other girls there! They sit me in the office which is at the very top of the building in a corner office. You give your ID and then you are seated downstairs where there are couches, it looks like a parlour or lounge. There are around 6 of us in total, all female and all . We are sitting there when the madam herself comes down to talk about what I lable as the "couch game" talk. Then she takes you through a tour of the rooms which are all themed, and then we basically make the choice to stay and work or go? I stayed! I didn't get it, I was so naive, I had no clue how this world worked or what laws were in place or how this could unfold? They asked if we had lingerie with us, and I didn't, so I ended finding some items that matched for that "shift"... SHould I go on? Is this a bore? |

I was in the business and tried to treat all of the girls right so I could keep good employees. One of the major issues for a new girl is to know the house fees. The house is entitled to their cut but some of the have hidden cost and the poor girl works her self to death only to fine the house has kept most of their money. One of the hidden tricks is a laundry charge. Another is having to tip out the front desk greeter. If you work a multi day shift the house will try to charge you room rent for your shift. The list goes on in anyway they can extract money out of you. Great occupation for young ladies but always understand the value of money and your own self worth. I watched many girls spend as fast as they made it.
