Fake email

Why do I receive so many emails from couples when I am clearly not interested in couples? When I first created my account, within minutes my inbox blew up with welcome emails from couples. Are these real people or does alt have a bunch of bot profiles it uses?

 They're bot profiles. Ever since Alt got rid of a lot of the popular chat rooms, I have been getting profile looks, hotlisted, and occasional emails from about ten "women" every day. I never got that much attention when there were a lot of real people on this site.
