my attempt at self bondage Giggle, I read in a book when i was like very young how you could tie yourself up, then run the rope next to a candle in the middle and when the candle burned down it would burn the rope in two and release you. So you could do safe self bondage where you were truly helpless. it sounded so thrilling so i tried it that night, I couldn't wait. Got it all set up, tied the last knot, and in 1 minute I got a itch on my nose that over the next 2 hours became hell, a living hell, worse than being burned, honestly. If only someone had been there just to scratch my nose for a minute, it could have been erotic, maybe. But never since. it's just not for me. |

Technical comment: Using a candle as a timer is dangerous. It could start a fire, could go out before burning the rope, could fail to burn the rope. Ice is much safer: either you hide the key inside an ice cube or you link two ends of rope with a block of ice. When the ice melts, you get the key. Or the two lengths of rope will disconnect. Alternatively, if you're home alone, you can place the keys in various, distant places so that you'll have to crawl up to them.
