Consent Just reflecting on a couple of conversations I've had recently along the lines of "would you do that to me?" and then having to explain that anything would be with their consent and then going into a sort of educational mode and I feel a bit like a teacher now. I am also wondering if this is because of my job - I work in drug treatment and can prescribe strong opioids to people who are dependent. I am sure that you can imagine the sort of things I encounter - victims of domestic violence, people who have been trafficked to sex work and people with severe and enduring mental health problems that are self-medicating with heroin and it is so important to check for shared understanding and consent. Never thought that my work would come into my personal life but hey that's the way it goes. |

A Dominant is always a teacher. Whether for their own submissive or for the unowned in the Community that need help. And a submissive that lacks knowledge should always be taught the rights from wrongs by reputable Dominants.
