 A beautiful ,velvet red , english rose .

I remember a short poem entitled "Jealousy"
A perfect rose was discribed ,each detail seemingly relished
The hand held the beauty , then fingers curled around the rose ,crushing it before
tearing to pieces its bruised petals .

I came across this poem as a child and still I understood it .
I also knew that I could never deface living beauty .
