I am a Survivor I can talk to you about broken families, addiction, depression, loss, survival, grief, heartache, death, abuse, neglect, abandonment, suicide and betrayal. I can also talk to you about empathy, kindness, compassion, love, energy, forgiveness, self-love, self-care, strength,peace, healing, recovery, unity, gratitude, grace, hope and the power of positivity. All of these experiences have taken part in creating the woman I am today. I am a combination of both the light and the darkness. I may be flawed but even with rough edges I'm still worth loving. To experience all of that in only 33 years must not have been easy, but no one ever said it was going to be all fun and games. Yet, as the song says, "I got through all of last year...and I'm here."

people like you are needed in this world, people who have had a very bad time and do not victimize themselves, nor go through life blaming others, who nevertheless do not stop looking for the bright side of life and help others from your experience, may life keep your happiest days for you in the near future.
