Step 1: catch, Step 2: keep its yours now

Pets like myself follow very simple rules. Whoever can catch me is allowed to keep me. The hard part is actually getting your hands on my collar. If the intention to catch me is clear obviously im gonna try to get away. If im ever caught again, my loyalty remains 100% with whoever caught me. Lotta people seem to think this is “extreme”. Im sorry to say that not every man will come crawling in his knees to be owned by you. A prize is ment to be earned, thats why its a prize. If your ever in my adorable little town, you might just see someone with a purple jacket and a tail. If you do see this person, your more then welcome to try catching him. It’s considered very polite to simply walk up and simply ask what the collar is for. Most of us will tell you outright that it is to show wether we are owned or not. Once you have identified a unclaimed pet, simply ask if you can try to catch us. Be open minded from that moment on because reactions will vary. The easier thing to do, would be to simply walk up, grab the collar, and make some sort of verbal cue to signify that your claiming whom ever the collar is attached to. Anyone that lashs out violently is full of shit, punching them in the face is socially acceptable. A real, genuine, Everchild class house pet, can not, will not, will never attempt or even contemplate laying a hand on a potential owner. We will only ever use violence to protect our owner.
