Learning languages

Since I set up my profile it has been viewed by members from around the world.
It struck me that as I am trying to learn German ( very slowly) using an app that being able to talk to a German person to practice would be really useful.
That led me down a stream of idle thoughts that Foreign Language Teachers in a full Mistress outfit and wielding a riding crop might have been more of an incitement to learn when I was at school.
Any thoughts on this yourselves.
