Fetishes Fetish. I hate that word! According to so-called experts, fetishes are a preoccupation with something unusual that is sexually stimulating. I think they believe that unless almost all people find it "stimulating," it's called a fetish. It definitely has a negative undertone. I think unless it's an obsession & does a person or someone else harm, call it what it is: a sexual preference. Unless the guy who has a shoe fetish starts skipping work to shoplift shoes, leave him alone! The same goes for the gal who has a tickling fetish. Unless she's holding someone against their will and force-tickling them, forget about her. The guy who likes sniffing used panties? Unless he's breaking into homes and heading for the laundry basket, let him be. Almost all S&M activities are considered fetishes. Even anal sex, a crucial mainstay of the BDSM community is considered a fetish. Wow. I'm sure some consider oral sex a sick fetish too.
