Testing a Master I wanted to ask both Dom and submissive, Masters and slaves, Domme and slaves. When you first begin as a couple. Is it normal behavior for a slave to test their Masters authority? I don’t remember if I did this 15 years ago when I began with my previous Owner or not. I find myself testing Sir, especially when He’s traveling. Please chime in. Thanks. Debra |

Depends on how you define "Testing" An ex slave told me once that she needed to get me mad so she could see how I reacted because she has been in abusive relationships before. I told her it takes a LOT to get me mad, and halfway thru i would prob realize what you were doing and just fuck with you at that point. Life will test you enough as it is, even as kinky as we all want to be, if the vanilla bedrock part isn't there, why test, your just looking for fun. When you bounce a check, when the kid does something stupid, when you get fired or a pandemic happens (or doesn't) you will be tested. WHY would you intentionally add to that ?? If you got red flags, slow the hell down and see what happens. If a sub was just being a brat and testing, then she shouldn't be surprised when A Dom makes think twice about intentionally annoying him in the future. Let the relationship play out organically and see what happens.....

I think that is a natural phase...after all, you really WANT him to punish and discipline you, don't you?

I feel a submissive/slave should test the dominant/master on occasion. But certainly early on and not in what is called "bratty" behavior (which I feel is sort of like topping from the bottom).

I do test Mistress on occasion but, believe me, I keep it to a minimum.

lil brats always test probe a DOMinate for weakness as they won’t serve or respect a weak DOMinate just as a DOMinate probes the sub to know what they need to improve on then nuture be patient cherish reward & discipline accordingly!
