Temporary. Transient. Ephemeral.

That applies to much in life but seems especially so here. The people we meet, the experiences we have, the moments we share are here and then not here. This is neither good nor bad; it just is.

And for those whose time here is more than than - well, bless your hearts and count yourselves among the lucky few.

 As for time, I am reminded of Salvador Dali's painting, The Persistence of Memory.
Time is just a melting clock in alt.

 There are many great quotes about time. Here is one from a movie (Beat the Devil) I have always liked:
"Time. Time. What is time? Swiss manufacture it. French hoard it.
Italians squander it. Americans say it is money. Hindus say it does
not exist."
