The Dark of my Stories

Readers of my<b> stories </font></b>may have noticed they are on the dark side. I have given some thought to this - why not? I am retired and looking for ways to fill me day - and realized I have always had a penchant for taking the darker path. I remember an assignment from high school. We were given some number of objects - car, flowers, and something else - it has be 60 years! - and told to weave a story around them. Mine was the one that included the acrid smell of burning rubber, the dying flowers along the driveway, and the portent of death.

TMI? Probably.
