No Value to Reaching Out?

I often wonder about the value of sites like Alt. Over the years I have drifted away from this site and others like it for long periods, simply because the lack of response from those who I reach out too is disappointing to say the least.

I try to make it easy for others to respond, by paying for standard members to be able to do so. Recognising that what I offer won't be of interest to everyone I reach out too, I ask for a simple "Thanks, but no thanks" response if they are looking for something else. Or have no interest in Me. I have no problem with that at all, and I don't think a simple couretesy that would take all of 10 seconds is an overwhelming task.

I make a point of not being an overbearing prick to potential submissives. I am courteous and respectful in my approach, because I believe to get respect, you have to give it. I often see others using the "get on your knees and worship Me" approach, and wonder: seriously, does that really work? And if it does, what does that say about the person who thinks that is great?

I have met some lovely submissives off Alt. Unfortunately, as often happens, vanilla life intervened for them, and I needed to let them move on. Always a wrench when you see so much potential in a<b> worthy </font></b>girl. But doing the right thing by them is always My primary concern.

Oh, I know there are numerous fake profiles on Alt. They dont even bother to pretend they are real. I do get a lot of interest from potential subs internationally, but I dont see that as realistic unless they are already coming to Australia. At least they bother to reach out though. Unfortunately Australian subs simply can't be bothered. Very disappointing.

So, I have to wonder if there is any value at all in sites like this.
