Unlocking Connections: Navigating Alt.com Without a Membership In today's digital age, I've been looking for ways to connect with new people and explore alternative lifestyles. I came across Alt.com, a popular adult-oriented dating site, and was excited to join. However, I quickly realized that the site is practically useless without a membership. As a non-member, I can't view profiles or engage in flirting with other users, which makes it impossible to connect with anyone. It's frustrating to be on the outside looking in, and it's not a great feeling. While Alt.com,does offer some free features like forums, blogs, and chat rooms, they're limited and don't offer much in terms of meaningful connections. As an introvert, attending local events and engaging in face-to-face interactions is not my preferred way of meeting new people. I feel more comfortable taking things slow and getting to know others at my own pace. It's frustrating that Alt.com,restricts access to its features for non-members, and it makes me wonder if it's even worth it to invest financially in meeting new people. However, I'm not giving up just yet. I've decided to explore other options, such as joining online communities and forums that cater to alternative lifestyles. Engaging with these platforms can help me meet new people who may not be exclusive to Alt.com, I can share my thoughts, ask questions, and connect with others who are interested in the same things as me. Before committing to a membership on Alt.com, I need to ask myself some important questions. How frequently will I use the site? Am I willing to invest financially in meeting new people? Are the additional features worth the cost for me? Ultimately, the decision of whether a membership on Alt.com,is worth it depends on my individual needs and preferences. In conclusion, connecting with others on Alt.com,without a membership can be challenging, but there are still other ways to explore my interests and meet new people. It's important to take things at my own pace and find what works best for me. |

Magnolia Blossom (the people who own this website) needs to come up with a different method for membership. Maybe just have one fee for everyone, which allows for e-mail contact, viewing profiles, etc. With or without a membership, the site is pretty useless - what with all the phonies and scammers, it's a fairly pointless website - if you do find anyone who is real, they're either on the wrong side of the country or on the other side of the world. Not to mention how bad the search function is.

I also don't advise paying on here. Last gold I payed for a year and few months in, my whole profile just disappeared. Most of these sites are just scamming people's money. Good luck in your quest

I've never been a paying member of this site. Yet, I have been able to make some connections over time. It takes patience and the ability to earn points to send IM's. But it sounds like you are figuring it out along the way. As long as you don't take this place too seriously, you may find some enjoyment out of it. I know I have. And send me a hello IM if you want. Happy to chat any time I'm online.

Another way to connect is to have an *inbox* in your blog. Pin a post where you have to "approve" the comments. If you do not approve them, they remain for your eyes only. If someone leaves you a message, hopefully, they have their own *inbox* set up.

First off, welcome to the blogs. You will find that many of us have been around a long time. But no longer are silver or gold. The good folks will use the private message blog where post have to be approved, which you don't approve. And you use the respond feature instead of comment in that particular blog. Same for posting and pinning a copy of you profile at the top of your blogs. Many of us have those two blogs pinned to the top of your blogs. There are as other have said, lots of fakes and scammers. But there are good folks, and if you have questions, ask them in an open ended way. Don't reveal all your likes, dislikes interests and so forth or the not so good folks will parrot back what you would like to hear. Best to you in your search for information.
