Do you remember?

Do you remember where you were when you heard a particular joke?
What are reminiscences around that time.

'Get me an Alligator sandwich, and make it snappy! '

First heard that watching Tommy Cooper on TV back in the day.
It's not that it's really funny - now - just the innocence of it resonates in a way that takes me back to a time when had I known I could have made other choices.
Oh for a parallel universe to peak at.
