Temptation

It's tempting to give in,
patience more than a virtue,
especially when in sin,
When 'eye' meets 'U'

Yes nice to begin,
offer some tangible proof,
drink subtle wines,
find trust in truth.

Truth may be painful,
honesty on the rocks,
leaves me unfaithful,
like odd socks.

If you can accept,
life takes its twists,
and learn to respect,
Then much more than visits.
