** Psyche** Drunk by temptation, the vessel in which Psyche was carrying her responsibility lay open beside her. She had been warned not to open the jar. She did it anyway. It cost her life as she was thrown into eternal slumber for being unable to control temptation. Hit by Cupid's arrow, he came upon her body and bestow a kiss on the lips of the chaotic maiden. With the touch of his lips upon hers, her soul awakens , she is indebted to him for breathing the life back into her. She knows that having to be put into a decision again that costs her her life will come again. She will choose the possibility of death again. But why be so risky with something so delicate? Because something wants her to live. Having risked death and losing yet being revived by luck named Cupid, she was meant to live and to take the risks in life that may cause her death. She doesn't take risk lightly. She doesn't tempt fate. She doesn't try to manipulate time. She doesn't fuck with destiny of another without understanding the responsibility that comes with the undoing of destiny. The cost of risk is life, but the prize of risk is the ability to live life to the fullest possible. I like the odds. The Queen raises her ante.  |
