Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black

Health, good or bad, is so often one of the things that belongs filed away in the "Life is not fair" folder. Like you, I've abused my body more than I have any right to get away with, and somehow I am, for all intents and purposes, pretty healthy and able to do almost anything I want. Then there are others who are human fitness machines who end up sick or injured even though they have taken many more steps than I to ensure good health.

When we feel good, it's definitely something worthy of appreciation and gratitude. Our days are finite, and we should celebrate every one of them where we are blessed with good health. A "bad day" is a very relative thing when you consider all the consequences.

You are so right!

Good health is a mix of out of control and under our control factors.

Heredity is a bigger factor than even environment and habit and there is no escaping it. We live in a really weird time in history dont we? When it comes to medical knowledge and advancements we have a lot of info, treatment and research that no other generation has had, but...........much of it is synthetically manufactured and non natural which we are using to counteract the many problems we've created with our polluted land and air, prepackaged and preserved diets and sedentary mind and mouth jobs over physical use of our bodies.

That any of us are still alive is sometimes amazing cuz our knowledge of using the land we were born onto and destruction of those plants and herbs that nourish and heal are pretty much non existant.

Grateful for my health even when I'm sick or tired? Hell yes I am!

I was young so the cesarean was a breeze for me. I had the baby Tuesday eve and I was home catching up on missed sex Friday afternoon. Very convenient not having my bit out of commission, though a tad messy.

As far as emergency, lol that depends on who you ask. Technically it was emergency as you cant elect them unless its a high risk pregnancy which mine was not and the baby was distressed, but thats because he and I were both pissed off that I was induced 2 weeks early(according to ME).

I told my OB when I first went in knowing I was pregnant that I was going to have a c-section. She laughed and told me I was ridiculous at both me being pregnant( I was told most of my teens that id probably never have kids without serious medical intervention) and the c-section bits.

She is a stubborn little bit of feisty delight, but I was right on all counts including the day I say I got pregnant( I knew when it was, but she argued and followed my last not exactly remembered cycle start date so I insisted all my pregnancy that she had my due date two weeks early).

22 years later and she still calls my son the miracle baby.

Health and blessings. Yep, I'll take em!

I know my little sickling. You are exempt from thinking the whole rest of the month about any health related gratitude. Its been to many replays the last few weeks to say anything but UGH, for you.

But you should be all better by 1 December and I expect a full gratitude aria in my personal inbox!

We have both reached our headache and sinus bullshit maximum for any year! Keep getting better, please.

We all think we're indestructible, dont we, until life kicks the very legs we stand on, out from under us and we learn the truth. We're just like every other living creature. Fallible.

Regardless of the reason it changed, Im glad you appreciate your health and well being now.

I intend to keep up the reasonably good health as much as I can. You do the same, please.
