Major fail

Failure is an option
In thought,
In word
In deed

Failure is an option
For what we want
And what we need

Failure isn't pretty
Looking outside from within

But failure is THE reason
We want to try again.

FAILURE FOR THE WIN!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By Light of Day

By light of day, as we wake to see our way
the night's rest purging sins from our souls
refreshed and giving hope for a better day
we resume our paths, as we dig more holes.

By light of day, as we eat, work and play
go on our way smiling, dancing like clowns
passing time with words and efforts to weigh
we build the day, only to end up with frowns.

By evening light, as we recoup in disarray
with memories, dark and light, we do stare
thinking on tomorrows, come what may
we dream and hope of a future with flair.

By nightfall, weary, blessed to sleep in peace
retiring to dreams, the mind and soul to keep
hearts filled with wishes for a life of caprice
we sleep to once again wake, no more to weep.

By light of day, another day brings sweet focus
reaching higher to set goals on our path to stay
building on the past, as efforts bring us to locus
we dig no more holes, as we better learn our way.

Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black
.

Sorry if I missed a day,
but alas work took me far away.
To camp upon a windswept ridge
No net, no phone, and no beer fridge.
No quent, no shower.. Twas rather drear
But I made it home to write this here.

Major fail, that's a general win,
avoiding corporal punishment
whilst keeping private matters.

The opinions and understanding portrayed in my blog are mainly unfounded, misguided or wrong.

Oh yeah, shame shame, you missed loads of quality cuz. Mmmmmmhmmmm *rolls eyes and laughs*

Do we have the same day at the same time?

Shit, your day sounds so much better than mine even though I know I couldn't do it and here you are still popping one out like it's nothing after all that.

Let it be said now...you and I are never, EVER playing Scrabble.

Quent?!?! WTF??

Ah thanks Dibsy.

As much as I like flowing rhythmic sound, I prefer music to spoken/read poetry.

Which is why my contrary ass is attempting this. I only get poetic when I'm emotionally overwhelmed with joy, so trying to focus on something I don't normally do, on command yet, self or otherwise, is.......well challenge is a damn good word for it.

In a desert oasis we swam, the cool water soothed our bodies and souls. The light echoed from canyon walls like the sound of the naked swimmers chants. Then we stood atop a rock to dry and soak up the scene. She said "describe to me what you see" . I said " I see that in this place of humans there is little trace, maybe some ancient scroll here and there, of people who came and went without a care." She said "that's good now close your eyes and tell me what you feel". Then she gathered some of the long stemmed native grass and tickled my back and then my ass, then she tickled between my thighs and all I could let out was oohs and sighs, and when she tickled my cock and sack I felt I'd have a panic attack. I thought when I had my turn I would brush her titts and make her yearn, make her nipples hard and tight , and in her pleasure I would delight. I would brush her neck and her hair to to hear her groan and despair. Then I would take her right then and there with a wicked trick ,I would first rub her pussy then shove in my dick ! Amen
Oh my!

I hear ya on music vs. spoken poetry...I've always said my favorite poets carry guitars or sit on piano benches.

Writing on command is not easy to do, but it is a skill that grows with practice, so who knows where you'll be after an April of waxing poetic.

I imagine after a month of this, I'll end up in a straightjacket teaching myself to speak to speak Mandarin.

But the music will be good.
