Time warp and black hole gratitude
When ALT was having a hissy fit a while back, entire "Watched Blogs" list got scrubbed. I havent gotten around redoing it and am not sure I will as Ive redone it so many times before and I generally do visit the few folks when I log in so its almost pointless.

I just noticed on home page that though I have no watched blog list I do have a section that says FAVORITE BLOGS.

The problem is that none of these undisputed favorite blogs of mine(with quick links attached) have been active profiles or blogs for several years. like 5+ years for most

I just started cracking up in sheer nostalgic amused gratitude. They may not be there, but they are far from forgotten

Honestly, if I knew how do a seance I'd resurrect every of em. Not that several havent been reborn, but in heart and mind (and alts software apparently) I am still stuck in 20 blogland.
The Mayan end of days calendar just kicks forward 2019 just mess with me.

 Yeah, I miss some. Moren that though I miss the interaction.... I've always had more fun in the feedback loop of commentary and theres not much of it about at the moment.... not that its not always dead this time of year anyway but shiiit.... I wanna roll in words and everbodee is sleepin'

 I have not been a member here very long, but there are some blogs I miss! There are people I miss interacting with in the comments as well. aHedonist seems to feel as I do, the interactions in the comments is where the fun lies, in the discussions.

I always found the comment section is where friendships develop and communities formed. There is very little in the form of conversation and I miss that a lot.
You found parts of me I didn’t know existed and in you I found a love I no longer believed was real.

I know you have the same sense of loss and nostalgia for some of your long gone favorites just as much as I do. I think we both tout it unabashedly because they are folks worth thinking about and missing.

Whats so weird about this is that while I did watch all the blogs in the screen shot all except one is a close profile. They should even exist let alone show up with links(that are dead and go nowhere). When did FAVORITE BLOGS come about on our act home pages and WHY would there be listings there that are from acts closed since 2012. Im truly befuddled but it doesn't overshadow my gratefulness at seeing those links again

Thats the truth for sure. More relationships are formed via blogs than anywhere else here. Whether or not they ever come face to face, the bond is there and it starts just one comment or sentence at a time.
