I am grateful for freedom. Yours, mine, the strides humanity has made and the leaps we still have to take.

I am especially grateful to live where and when I do. I am not by nature a person who does "middle ground" well. That would work if I was the only person on the planet but I am not, I have to for the in-between because everyone else's ways and visions were forged by their nature and experiences and if we don't at least try to see other views we become blind.

I admit that I like the different sides that rule who I am. Part , part old bat even though for most of my 49 years I've been somewhere in between.

 What's not to be thoughtful for yet I picked thoughtful or impulsive. I'm typically the thoughtful one with everything planned out and a birthday card sent to everyone for their birthday. Let me try to just see what happens if I forget a bday card......they'll think I'm sick, lol.

 I exercised my freedom to abstain. Because yanno... you arent the boss of me.

But as a matter of general policy I am thankfull to be... most everything, I dont take much for granted anymore. Including you.

This made me grin like crazy. I absolutely see you as a thoughtful and gracious lady who seems to be very considerate of others, so Im glad that you know it and hope that those you shower your care on, appreciate you too.

I've grown hugely sporadic with my desire and even ability to learn. I have had to resort to a narrow focus so when I learn a new tidbit. Since I no longer do well with broad strokes, I zoom in on one time period or item or location etc or I find myself losing interest fast.

It probably doesn't help that I am dubious about most of what i see and hear, but love a good story, so nod and follow along anyway.
