Unlike years past, this year I am trying to keep my posts brief and on point. While it is me writing and I feel I have to put some background or source info in for clarity of purpose, I don't want to get caught up in the story or the writing only to lose the point. I do consider myself to be extremely blessed and insanely lucky. Of all the craziness Ive had around me, very little of it has done me actual or long term harm. Small or great, most failures, disappointments, struggles and difficulties were ones I had a hand in creating by my own choices, thoughts or actions. While I am firm in my intent to GIVE gratitude and be thankful for all the things in my life and world yesterday today and always, I can not be either grateful or thankful without TAKING responsibility for the things that I have forgotten, made harder. Longer. Impossible. Hurtful. Inconsequential. I want and need to take back the responsibility I alone have for keeping my own gratitude where it needs to be. Right there for the taking....... and for giving. I write about the power of trying, because I want to be okay with failing. I write about generosity because I battle selfishness. I write about joy because I know sorrow. I write about faith because I almost lost mine, and I know what it is to be broken and in need of redemption. Taking each day as a gift and trying to share that gift......not as easy as one thinks. Behind the scenes caution lurks for fear of rejection and hurt...….what the hell, share anyway

Lifes' about balance. You win some, you lose some... you give a little,take a little (stack a little money away... Ha if that song's going to lodge in my head for the day dammit you're coming too wench. Because I said so that's why. /watch?v=cIq6kInTG0Y And sometimes what was important becomes inconsequential, and the inconsequential becomes important. And thats just us, soon as you surround yourself with others doing the same it's going to get all exponential and stuff. And then we have the entire Law of Unintended Consequences stuff, with a special guest appearance by Shit Happens. You're human, and I loves ya for it. And you're far too hard on yourself. And don't you be sucking up shit because of other peoples choices. And I thought I told you to fetch me ice for my drinkies three days back, you could just about be here by now. And now that fucked up song is going to echo in my head all day and if i cut my fucking hand off it'll be your fault.
