See what I mean

“Being grateful all the time isn't easy. But it's when you feel least thankful that you are most in need of what gratitude can give you: perspective.”
― Oprah Winfrey

Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black

It was an awesome day today, since I woke up headache free.

It's all about perspective isn't it? It being.....everything. Anything. Life.

How we view a situation depends on what side of it were looking from. Yesterday, Id have answered any question with the words, meh, blech or *groan*, yet today since I have no pain clouding my view, I was chipper, genuinely appreciative and cognizant of what was going on around me. Pain is a one off that does change things and Im glad that Im not a chronic pain sufferer, but the cloudy vision that blinds me to what else is around me because my eye is turned inward too often? Yeah, its not cool.

Perspective. Iz gots some. I recognize it is skewed at times, but I'd rather have it part time than not at all. Oh the sights I'd miss only looking within, and being without, perspective.

Each of us have that button, that when pushed, brings out that crabby side of us no matter how hard we try.

I am glad you are feeling better! We all have "off days"!

That Oprah Winfrey quote on your profile struck a chord with me. When feeling a bit down it's useful to remember to be grateful for at least some of the good things in life. Or so I keep telling myself

Emotional or physical, I agree.

Pain is an animal that when inside us has vicious teeth and claws that take out your mind as much as your body. As a lifelong migraine sufferer Ive known it most of my existence but its brief, a day or two at a time.

When that pain comes, I disappear and a whole other me exists. A primordial one that is instinct only, no thought or conscience or civility only blind survival. I think that is the foundation of us all, so Im glad its very temporary still.

SO very true and I'm usually okay with that. Its natural to our species among all kinds of other things that arent sunshine and smiles, I'm just grateful that it isnt a common occurrence for me to feel nasty or bad all that often

You and me both. If we keep reminding ourselves as and when we can, its bound to stick. right? Say yes cuz Ive been reminding me for 25 days and its not any easier or close to being back to as easy as it used to be

Not random Thanks, I appreciate the tip.

I know there s a list of foods that top the migraine list, but since they didnt effect me, I blew it off. Onions and garlic crucify me as does packaged bacon(a newer development) so I really need to look at that list again!
