Boogerbutt poofing oriented tourettes finger, Day 23 Disregard the title unless it applies you! Poetry in motion Day 23 April is national poetry month and while I do follow along with my local library's daily selection, this year instead of writing my own poetry or sharing a classic of another, I am sharing songs, well lyrics of songs, that I consider pure poetry. Poetry in motion as it were. If you've been swept away by a poem, whether or not put music and can help sweep us away, please join in and share your ocean of emotion/poetry in motion as well. Special thanks drmgirl622, 4Faksake, jenny, mockyloks & tsarah, who have offered suggestions or shared their selections.....It is greatly appreciated! **POST IN COMMENTS DUE POOR SITE FEATURE MAINTENANCE** Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character. At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached. May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black. ~~ 'My place amongst the stars' c/o former member SPB ~~ |

We all have them don't we? Those poems as songs that roll over you like a tidal wave, making you close your eyes, open your ears, throw your head back and tune out the world as the tune itself drowns you in feeling! They can be sweet or sad, moving or numbing, quiet and gently stirring, fierce, hell no, fuck yeah, or fucked up and loud. What do the neighbors say When they hear us scream at night Do they talk about a love all in tatters What do the neighbors know About the heart and soul The fire down below that really matters' They can never guess in the silences That all I want is you And the sexy hurricane we got here, All I want is you I don't want a man who says "Good morning, dear", no, I don't (All I want is you, all that I want is you) (All I want is you, nobody else, no one but you) Let 'em listen at the door Let 'em listen through the floor Let 'em go ahead and draw the wrong conclusion So chase me 'round the room Make me crazy like the moon They can never guess in the silences That all I want is you And the sexy hurricane that we share All I want is you I don't want a man who tiptoes up the stairs, no, I don't (All I want is you, all that I want is you) (All I want is you, nobody else, no one, but you) They can never guess in the silences That all I want is you (All I want is you) And the sexy hurricane that we share, oh babe All I want is you I don't want a man who tiptoes up the stairs (He's gonna fall) All I want is you And your freight train Whistlin' over my track All I want is you And your Mack truck loving Jumping me, Jack Carly Simon "All I Want Is You" Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character. At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached. May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black. ~~ 'My place amongst the stars' c/o former member SPB ~~

cuzi This is true love! It is wonderful to be so uninhibited and wild A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw Jenny

My guests are permitted to scream as loud as they like and have been instructed never to yell fire. I'm pretty sure that the two girls that live next door secretly hate me. Howling at the moon and mal ad osteo.

It's my favorite carly song and had a lot to do with cementing my youthful views on sex and relationships. Who says rock n roll dont matter! Another great share here, girl. Thank you so much for the double feature! Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character. At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached. We DO need trains. I haven't heard them in a month either and today I heard 3!!! *taps foot* Ok, bub. HOW can I have POSSIBLY unfuzzed this? Hmmmmmmmmm Ok, it wasn't left completely without a conclusion but damn a sister had to work for it like wandering a labyrinth! I found a couple of clips, all short 2-3 minutes, but I did find one that I think was the opening of Star Dreams and oh yes, very lovely opening indeed. I've decided your questions deliberately have no answers and you like it that way. Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character. Of course I'm always a rose petal. Haven't you ever heard of a cabbage rose? Huh, in thinking of all the facets on that world cup football, Im honestly drawing a blank on when or why. On the rare times I use that term it's always jokingly. Unless of course someone hurts my feelings. Or Im in a mood. Or jealous. Or.......yeah cabbage rose. Ummmmmmm if you remember correctly, you did try and convert me to bloggy Scientology if only so you could poke fun. I refused because L ron hubbard was so OUT THERE but you did point out that OUT THERE is a good thing in fiction writers, especially science fiction. SOme of its followers are beyond fervent, even for a religious cult. wait, lol why would I be kicked out? Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, I dunno about being a golden child and wow it would suck to find out if you fuck up this test go round, that you'll be coming back as a boll weevil! Or a fern! That being said..............Wonder no more. Absolutely you are crazy foxy enough to have a cult. Ive been a fan of your cult of personality for years!
