Poetry in motion Day 24 April is national poetry month and while I do follow along with my local library's daily selection, this year instead of writing my own poetry or sharing a classic of another, I am sharing songs, well lyrics of songs, that I consider pure poetry. Poetry in motion as it were. If you've been swept away by a poem, whether or not put music and can help sweep us away, please join in and share your ocean of emotion/poetry in motion as well. We all have them don't we? Those poems as songs that roll over you like a tidal wave, making you close your eyes, open your ears, throw your head back and tune out the world as the tune itself drowns you in feeling! This is one of my very favorites Many times I tried to tell you Many times I cried alone Always I'm surprised how well you cut my feelings to the bone Don't want to leave you really I've invested too much time to give you up that easy To the doubts that complicate your mind We belong to the light, we belong to the thunder We belong to the sound of the words we've both fallen under Whatever we deny or embrace for worse or for better We belong, we belong, we belong together Maybe it's a sign of weakness when I don't know what to say Maybe I just wouldn't know what to do with my strength anyway Have we become a habit? Do we distort the facts? I have nothing to say about female emoting via song or story begetting reciprocity either.Cum shots and dick pics arent a substitute no matter how hard the men of alt try to convince me that they are the ultimate sign of a mans love. For himself. Oooooooooo I went and looked the couple up! You're right, that was fun and fantastic! So many relationship and world problems would be solved by less talking and more singing and dancing(see! its that damn movie thing again. IT WORKS I TELL YA) Dust to dust is a marvelous song and a great genesis. Not alien....well maybe, who's to say God isn't an alien? According to the little boy, God is an Astronaut. I know he isn't human, so......*shrugs* You read a book and so did the pawn girl?? What is this? I came for Sugar Smacks and find Fruity Pebbles. Though, I am a Lucky Charms kinda guy myself. Smacks and cocoa pebbles are all sold out, doncha know. I had to double down on the fruity pebbles instead. The world is going to hell in a shopping basket!  I DO know you are a charmed/s kind of fellow.
