Bro's, Ho's n alla dose, thankfully

Every day this month until Thanksgiving, think of one specific thing per day that you are thankful for and post . That's the goal anyway.

Today I am thankful for:

Long time friends.

I a few friends that I've known seems like pretty much forever.

Despite going weeks, months, even years without seeing each other, often passing by for a minute, electronically at best, never does the lack of time or space decrease the care or love.

When we do connect for whatever length of time in whatever manner, place or space, it's like no time has passed at all. Every. Single. Time.

The loyalty, attentiveness, affection and acceptance is , without thought or hesitation. Without grudges or pause. No calculations or tabulations. Just the grind and the love.

Not all are what I would classify as best friends, but they are all, without a doubt, the greatest of friends and for each and every one, I am truly thankful.
Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black.

 Friends are very much of value. I just had a friend call me, who has done so much for me. he needed a rid home, I delivered him as needed. It feels good to do something for him after all the things he has done for me.

I so agree. It's awesome when you can give back to those who give to us. I'm not sure why it feels different when it's a friend vs family.

Maybe because they chose us willingly.
