Precipitous not perilous, thankful

Every this month until Thanksgiving, think of one specific thing that you are thankful f0r and post . That's the goal anyway.

Today I am thankful f0r:

Snow

We had our first snowfall 0f the season yesterday and 1t was as magical as ever. A steady medium fall 0f delicate flakes that started 1n the morning and lasted most 0f the day wrapping my lil part 0f the world 1n a blanket 0f frozen wonder.

Year after year I fall 1n love with life all over again at the first snow. The world gets brighter, the air sharper, sounds soften until even the most annoying noise is muted into the blue white background.

It was mostly gone by bedtime last night but up until then, f0r those fleeting magical hours, 1t was a beautiful enchanted wonderland and f0r that, I am thankful.
Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black.

Age makes my hands and joints hate it but the 8 yr 0ld inside me sees it in the morning and wants to run to watch the news to see if work is closed for the day just like sch00l mornings

It isn't even Thanksgiving yet! Caroling has no business raising it's joyful noise until December.

It's barely acceptable pumpkin spice season. Not that I can find that creamer anywhere this month.
They probably sold out in July

I wonder if there are any good dormant volcano tunnels. I'd do those. I was all over the climate changes from Mt. Tamboras 1815 eruption a few weeks back until I realized for the last 50 years, I've been been imagining Indonesia in the completely wrong place!
