I jumped and will probably fall

I made a leap this weekend that I swore I wouldn't make again.

I replied on someones blog that had hurt me a while back with their careless reply.

I don't really think they meant it to sound as callous and cold as it did, yet it still hurt me deeply to be treated that way.

I don't suppose I should have let it bother me the way it did, and if my skin was even half as thick as I pretend it is, it wouldn't have.

Yet when I find someone who touches me deeply...in any way....I will always respond to their joy or pain, and try to support/celebrate with/ or just empathize with them as best I can. I will also let them know that they have moved me since I don't think that most of us do that enough. A kind word can heal many wounds, and there are so many things out there that can wound a tender heart.

It wasn't someone that I had a hopeful interest in as they were too far in distance, they were involved with someone and that is not my thing, and I just didn't think we had a snowballs chance, so I didn't see them as anything other than another soul seeking peace, hope, love, passion and truth. My motives were innocent and appreciative....mostly.

I have stayed away for quite a while, but I needed to go back...I can't ignore the wisdom and peace that I get from knowing I share the same struggles that others do. This one more than almost all others.

It hurt like hell to be there, but it hurt worse not to.

I am learning so much from many of my blog brothers and sisters. I hope that I always remember them and these things they share.

To the naked eye, we may be man/woman, Dom/sub, serious/playful, exceptional/average, different hemispheres, different countries, different religions, different races, different beliefs and different desires....

but beneath all of that, we are human.

And for that reason I jumped!

Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black

That's the truth of it too isn't it hon?

You are such a good boy.

I should mention that it was your bad day [post 175328] and your brave, proactive action, in the situation you were struggling with, that gave me the strength & courage to say...."Okay, I'll try again....what could it hurt....it most likely can't get worse since it's already shit, and maybe it can help."

So......good job. I'm still proud of you...and now I'm proud of me too!

update:

The weenie only mildly ticked me off with his unthinking almost offensive comments this time, and was actually civil and decent on several other posts.

How such a beautiful speaker can be such a shitheel to some, and an absolute peach to others is beyond me.

Right now he is better off alone.

He has more issues than National Geographic!

I wish him peace in his head and heart and a better way of speaking to others for his future.
