I am humbled by the thought of all the people, places, experiences and things I would have missed, had that been true! Live. Learn. Screw it up. Grow. Flourish That's life as I now know it and Im not even close to knowing a lot of things let alone everything. I can live with that. In some ways, I knew more at 14 than I do now, but in most other respects I know much more now. Knowledge gained through experiences - good and bad!

I wish that I knew at 14 that I was going to use boys as toys. Would have made being 18 way less painful… I keep forgetting to put Miss Cassie's linked in… will go and do that now in my blog x

If 18 hadnt been so painful would you now use boys? I cant sweat it, but sometimes, I still wonder. Not 'what if', but which came first for what reason. Live n learn and survive it all. I was thinking the same thing, but I never quite can reconcile what I had then that I dont have now that made everything else around me seem so simple and unquestionable. I'll take what Ive learned and experienced good and bad (not that I have a choice about it happening, but accepting and acknowledging) and still, I wonder how I would have seen it back then each time something happens. I say I was far more brave, but it isnt that. Not responsibility either cuz I was always responsible.....crazy this whole being a grown up business. Lol I had to slow it down to say it and you wanna run it at 78? EEK! 15, 21 and 25 were my watershed years. I dont ever wanna go back to my teens as I was a bit......out of control at times, but I'd like to be able to channel my inner superhero from my midteens and see how she'd act now or handle things differently with this extra 30 years of experience too. Im nodding fast enough to get whiplash. There was NO middle ground for me at that age. I was mouthy and all powerful or silent sewer sludge. How I(and most that age) had the attitude and fierce certainty that I knew anything and was everything even part of the time is beyond me.
