So I was chatting with a friend today, as you do. And we started talking about how as Dom he is always observing his sub, and I mentioned that I can find scrutiny unnerving because I feel measured, judged and found wanting-even if it’s all in MY mind. I mentioned I was going to blog about it, and he insisted that I focus on the positive. So in the spirit of that, I ask all you wonderful friends, bloggers and commentors-Tell Me Something Good. I think you are all awesome and talented and smart. Blog about it, or post it here. What’s fabulous about you? Is it your gorgeous smile? Your tender heart? Ya got great legs? Are you a good friend? Are you growing in your Dominance or submission? Do you snort when you laugh? Are you a great cook? A good listener? We all tend to focus on the stuff we wish we could change, let’s celebrate the things we never would!!

I have a smile that will light up a room. And a soft secret one that is reserved just for Him. Perfect teeth. I actually do snort when I laugh. I love puppies and horses. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I have lovely manners, and I'm charming as all get out. A good friend. I throw fabulous parties.

I have my health, I am overall a pretty happy and congenial person. I do try to be helpful to others. I am loyal to my friends. I a just an ordinary average guy. Nothing wrong with that. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

I have never been called fabulous (been called a lot of things that start with F ) Just trying to be loyal to friends , help others when i can ,and enjoy life, just like Dancing Dom...it is the only way to get through life

Well, I'll start by saying this is a mighty fine post, Rayne. This might actually be the most positive post I have seen in this site. Just like DacingDom, I'm happy I have my health, and I'm happy to have a job and a few good friends. I agree, we tend to delve in the negs but it is as good a day as ever to celebrate our good fortunes

The difference between a flower and a weed is judgement . . If you think of yourself a weed and I think you are a flower . . which perspective nurtures growth . . Neither mine or yours, but the chemistry of how we grow our garden.

I've been a lot of things, but I've never been a lier. I don't fuck people over and I don't rat people out. I've been a confidant for a lot of people because. I don't talk about what's discussed in private. I can be quick to forgive someone that's talked against me or who has behaved badly towards me, but there is a limited number of times..sometimes 2...sometimes...more. I'm trained to analyzing data and look for patterns in processes and people. I find it easier to trust someone that has more than one dog. if they don't like dogs. I probably won't like them. A horse count's for a lot too. I prefer to do all the cooking, but im flexible. I prefer a motorcycle over a car. In a car you're a spectator. On a motorcycle you're a part of what's going on around you.

Well my list of attributes would be pretty much the same as DancingDoms. I'm fairly healthy, but I've reached that stage in life where on my last company medical when testing hearing & lung function. They said they were normal, then they add those three little words you don't want to hear, "for your age." Ah well, such is life. I think I am a good friend, loyal & helpful. I believe I am normally patient & tolarant & try to see the good in people. On your comment on being judged & found wanting. In any situation we have to see the bigger picture & understand where we are, so we can improve. Any Dom who's any good isn't trying to tear you down or put you down, he wants to build you up, for you to be the best you, you can be. But I suspect you know that really anyway.

My first thought is that your must have a very good Dom friend! Good for him for telling you to see the positive! And good for you for following through and being positive!!
