The Silver Lining

The Silver Lining

The morning after and all is good relatively speaking.
She is still somewhat prone, searching emails and wandering the halls, hoping for but not really expecting a sign.
She sees He too wanders the halls as well possibly in search of His next.

She respects it will take time to fully distance, to heal, such that only the fondest of memories remain.
More importantly, she will need to not lose a grasp on the blending that occurred within her by His hand.
That is the positive outcome, the silver lining to their shared time and experiences.

And yes, she can smile at who she has become, forever grateful to Him.
For none can take away that special sense of peace and completeness, wholeness and softness.
That fully integrated whole, a portion of which had been locked way for so long, liberated through and by His presence.
She need only to reflect on their shared experiences, nurture and cherish her submissiveness into its fully blossomed beauty, and remember to only offer it up to “The One” who is worthy.

A parting wish to Him: May He be safe, be well and be happy in His travels, as she hopes to be in hers.

Oh those feelings and memories are the battle of our life times, such a stir that can only happen in a connection, yet each must do their part to let go so fully that the two become one and the memory sets a bar that may likely never be reached in the same way.

We cherish but what is it we cherish and how do we find it when we know the search cn never find the same, but perhaps by finding yourself you have already found the foundation to make better what you have experienced before.

@Simplyalbertaman - Thank you, I very much appreciate you for sharing your perspective.

I prefer to see each experience as a treasured and cherished gift, each unique as they offer up life lessons. They are also the pivot point from which to position for future opportunities that might ideally lead to an even more enriching experience.

The way I look at things: life and our experiences help us discover what we don't want.

Thank you again,

tasina

Want is a funny word, at times the things we cherish the most are those things we don't know we are looking for.
