Instructions I thought about writing them down, but I knew I didn't need to. I had read them so may times that the instructions were burned into the core of my mind ..... mixed emotions of worry, fear and arousal had embedded themselves deep inside my core. "When you arrive, you will park on the right side of the driveway, 3/4 of the way to the end next to the house. I will not be present to greet or reassure you. The side door to the right of where you parked will be open. Enter the door, close it behind you and strip, folding your clothes and placing them neatly against the door. Take a seat at the head of the table in the room. Place your palms on the table, spread wider than your shoulders, and spread your legs wider than the legs of the chair, soles to the floor. Once your palms touch the table, you will not remove them until I tell you. You will be seated at the table as instructed at 12:00 sharp. Hold this position until I come for you, not moving from it until then. Compliance with all instructions to the finest detail will tell me how ready you are to start your training." No, I had no need to write down the instructions. The map application giving directions and the time to depart had been set. All that was left was to turn on the key and put the car in drive ........ the sound of the engine starting sent butterflies through my stomach. |

I always do as told for the right strong person, hoping they'll be strong enough to take over full control and imaginative enough to keep me scared and on edge.
