Convinced to Backpack

I was very hesitant when it was suggested that we take a short couple night backpack trip. The meetings, discussions, messages and so on leading up had went well and all, but it did seem a bit desolate and I’m more of a camper. It took a bit of convincing and reassuring that I’d be well cared for to finally agree to give it a try. It was also assured that I would be the boi of the trip and would call him Sir, which made me nervous yet strangely excited. Agreeing to go came after rationalizing that at worst case I could just walk back out the trail we went in if things weren’t going well.

The drive up was relaxed and we made good time, taking turns driving, sharing experiences and telling stories. The walk in and initial set up of camp was uneventful and friendly as well, and I was relieved that some of my worst concerns such as being collared and led into the woods on a leash didn’t come to bear. After a dinner not too bad for being a couple of miles in the woods, I was feeling comfortable, safe. Perhaps I was wrong in being so concerned? I volunteered to do dishes and didn’t notice as he milled around a bit.

Then the steady voice calling out ‘Hey boi” broke the peaceful quiet of the camp.

I looked up from the last of the dishes to see Sir standing by a fallen tree, a coil of thin strong rope in his hands and a couple more coils at his feet. Suddenly the goose bumps rose and my legs got weak.

The low and even voiced stern command went right to the core of me, “Take off you clothes and come over her now, boi.”

Suddenly things didn't feel so safe or comfortable, yet what almost seemed to be another part of me began doing as told, wide scared eyes locked on the scene awaiting my presence .........
