The rest of the country may be stuck with Trump, but Washington DC still attracts the best and the brightest, regardless of what embarrassment the dumbest voters on the planet shove into the White House and the Congress. Stephen Strasburg, the most dominant pitcher in baseball, just re-signed a record-breaking seven-year contract with the World Series Champion Washington Nationals.

Mike Rizzo, the General Manager of the Nationals, is a team-building wizard. He may have to let our all-star third baseman walk, but he knows how to turn over rocks and find pure gold. He'll patch together an infield and bullpen out of chewing gum and baling wire and somehow, miraculously, the Nationals will haunt and taunt the National League East. We may not repeat in the World Series next year, but we'll be built to win it if we get there.

Bad News for the National League East, the rest of the National League, and the American League champion.

impeachment, schmeachment. The runaway engine in the Whine House and the caboose in the Seancet aren't gonna be derailed until the voters pull up the tracks in November. I got better things to celebrate than politics.

 Not only that, we stuck the Philadelphia Phleas with Bryce Harper's humongous contract.
