Perfectly said. Now the GOP is party of poor, uneducated white people. They themselves say that. reference: congressman from Ohio. How can one argue with that...

it is not 50%, not even close. it is 50% of the right. so it is more like 25-30%. however; it is the loudest group on the right.

USA was formed by individuals who wanted freedom and the ability to follow their own path and religion. Before the formation of USA, everyone belonged to the king, or leader whatever their form. The founding of the USA broke that. It is a Republic founded on democratic principles. Which means there are 50 members of the union, at first all with equal representation, not, the majority rules as I believe the majority of citizens live in 4 or so states.... Those other states, still get a say, what the electorate college is about.
So we are all given the right of education free up to a point, then, it costs. One can pay, or borrow the money to go to college. Now the subjects are all there for the choosing. I chose a BS degree. It worked out well. Most said, that is too hard I will study social sciences... Then, low and behold if there is a job, it won't pay for one's living and pay back for the education. Whose fault is that... I will tell you, the guy who did not like homework. So now they want the government to bail them out... from the decisions they made. I call BS. The democratic government is ready to raise the price I pay for things to bail them out... Make me pay for their bad decisions. See NATO was doing that as well. I admire Trump for saying no, pay your own way. And that pretty sums up where people disagree Those of us who paid our own way, and those wanting their debt paid. I say fine pay their debt. But give me my money back I which I paid.
Trump fought illegals coming into this country, made NATO start paying their own way, made us energy independent, gas prices dropped to less than $2 under Trump... Our ships stopped being harassed in the Suez Canal... North Korea started talking with us... We all had more money in our pockets. AT least I did, and everyone I know did.... no shortages on the shelves ... I was reluctant to post this. I was brought up don't talk politics or religion.. I am a liberal

I feel that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and will gladly read or listen to them, as long as they do the same with mine, and don't expect me to believe theirs and I won't expect them to believe mine I don't feel that is asking too much.

The infrastructure is one of those, individuals or companies build gas stations for profit, why should the government build charging stations with our tax dollars? Just like high speed internet, sadly the demand in remote places doesn't meet the expense of getting it there or businesses would do it.

Climate change is important, it is hard to justify expensive restrictions on your own people, when the largest country in the world pollutes more than we ever have. The question I have about renewable energy, it could end up like nuclear energy and the spent fuel rods, where will all the used batteries go? Currently the windmill blades are unrecyclable and being buried. Is it ok to import other country's oil and not use our own, does it pollute less?

Every politician lies, it depends on how badly a person feels that politician is lying. Do they work for the people, rarely, they work for special interest groups that are usually big business in one form or another. they might try to appease the few that make a lot of noise, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The echo chamber does ring true, sort of, if you do your own research in buying a car, you're a smart shopper, if you do your own research in politics, you're a conspiracy theorist? I heard a lot of echos after the raid on Trump's place, channel surfing, made me wonder if there were reporters or robot reporting the news, a different face on a different channel saying the same thing.

Sadly the rest of the world is divided into the have's and have not's, it's very similar to the statement that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but no one thinks that their septic tank might be backed up. At least here, we're not restricted like in many other countries, to try and work our way out of the position that we are in. It's not owed you, you have to work for it, how badly do you want it?

Many people confuse rights for privileges, rights should never be taken away, privileges on the other hand come and go. Things change, most for the better, sadly some for the worse. Can all people be pleased, no, unfortunately, they haven't learned what rejection is. They didn't try out for the team and not make it, they were put on the team and got a participation award.

Does this make your opinion right or wrong, what about mine? If someone can't listen to others without being upset, they aren't open for growth, they are stuck where they are.

Of the many things I could reply with, I will keep it very simple for those on the left who have issues with hearing anything that goes against their beliefs. It has not been the GOP unfriending, screaming at others who have different views then them. The GOP does not spend days and weeks protesting and keeping actual working people from making a living, usually over something that after the dust falls is not what they thought it was, i.e. "hands up don't shoot" yeah that never happened, or "Police are killing minorities and not whites", NOPE they are protecting their own lives from some idiot who is resisting arrest or being the general ass they are to anyone who doesn't believe the same as them no matter what the laws are.
Yet here I read about how the GOP is taking away womans rights, they are do no such thing they just returned the decisions to the states where they always should have been, what works in NYC, LA, and many other liberal heavens, does not work in rural America so now why should we be subjected to draconian laws because the liberals in big cities does not know how to do things like actually protect the environment that supplies them with most of the food they eat that they do not need to get at some store.

Yet it is the Conservatives and the GOP that are the problems because we believe we are in the longest most painful "I told you so" in history, because we have been telling liberals that their policies will do what they have done, created inflation, allowed over 2 million people to just walk into our country, and have passed more laws that try to control the people because they have forgotten they work for the people we do not exist to just pay endless taxes to pay for every liberal wish list item
