First Week Observations This is my first week on alt.com and I'm learning quickly the fake from the real. I am not new to online communities, so I have an idea what I'm looking for when it comes to spotting the fake Doms, but I remain slightly shocked. I understand that as a submissive, it is my nature to serve, but I reserve the right to decide whom I will serve. I have never felt that I must cater to every man who thinks himself a Dom. In many cases, I have been polite but firm that I am not interested or that I need time to get to know someone better before I decide if I want to pursue even an online relationship with them. I have met a great deal of resistence. Many "Doms" get very short and angry that I do not submit to them immediately. I am ordered to purchase things like a webcam, nighties, toys and report back to them by a certain time. Because I show a Dom the proper respect that goes with having earned his title, doesn't make him my Dom and I am taken aback by how they treat me in these situations. I'm not upset by any of it, just surprised that more Dom's wouldn't have respect for a sub with a mind and intellect that are her own, who takes the time to make decisions rather than submitting to every man she calls Sir. My intention is to fine THE DOM. The one who is my match. I have met this person I do believe and I am simply waiting for him to claim me as his own. I wait patiently for this and will not ask for it, as it is not mine to request, only to grant if offered. HE is the one i WILL serve, once given the opportunity. I hope to learn a great deal from everyone else, Doms,Dommes and Sub,Slaves alike. Each person has something to teach. It has been an interesting week so far. The Darkness |

Welcome fine lady sarah belle, Noticed you yesterday briefly in a "sluts" room but you left quickly. Taking this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. Alt. is a great meeting ground for all who are interested in the alt. lifestyle, sessions, adult fun. However, much time can be consumed if not down right wasted on as you have already stated in a blog, "fakes". Honesty, sincerity is KEY for us in chatting with people. Reading,the above comment by minxkitten 9 is so so true. Nice ,minxkitten. All depends on what one is looking for, a relationship of SM BD, occasional sessions, a hubbie or wife that may not get into the scene as the other does so opportunities need to be discreet yet honest. There are many many fine people into the lifestyle that are interesting other than their SM BD knowledge. Also, the above statement by bites back, is as equally true. WEll stated bites back. Hi Sarabeth9, Welcome to ALT. Looks like you are a fast learner. I like that.  Respect should be mutual in any lifestyle. Good luck in your search for your DOM.

Never a calm sea ......... always a storm..Me

Hi Sarahbeth9. Welcome to Alt .. I don't think i called anyone Sir when i was looking, for me respect is earned on both sides. Have fun, i wish you loads of good luck. I found my Master here, so it's all possible x
