future travels

Well within 20 days I will be travelling back in time 50 years to meet with my classmates from the two high schools I attended. This will be cathartic in that my mind is a virtual blank regarding this period of my life since Vietnam. I recognize names but have no recognition of my relationship to them. It is like the file cabinet of this period of my life has been rusted shut for those 50 years. My two best buds are no longer sucking air which was a surprise to me.

But I am travelling the back roads and small towns taking my time and casting my fate to the winds. Maybe I will even get lucky. I had over 1100 read my last post (probably out of boredom) but no comments were left. I am guilty of doing the same some times,i.e. reading but leaving no comment although I whole heartily agree. Maybe you all want to know what it is I am looking for as soon as I discover it I will let you know. Right now I am working on fulfilling a 35 year dream and that is taking a lot of time and effort right now. This will be the first adventure since I went to Ireland and kissed the blarney stone (I would have rather kissed some tits) but it was all good.
