That'll keep you occupied for a day or two. I'm glad you like it.

For me, there are times when all wood - even the lowliest, knottiest pine - seems a shame to burn. Does it burn with a pleasant scent?

As there are two pieces, I'm consulting with an International Consortium on a musical instrument. The other may go to a world renowned wood distributor. And I may simply hang one remainder (post-cut) piece on the wall.

A day or two ... ha ... if you only knew my list of open projects in this area ... but it is a great wood. Thanks, and please thank your shoe wearing courier for me.

I appreciate the photo comment. I was beginning to wonder if it was too obscure.

Hey ... yes, lil one, perhaps your beloved will want to make a silky oak toy for his silky girl toy. Seems natural on multiple levels.
I'm glad you liked the picture.

It is a beautiful gift, the gift aspect in some sense outshining the essential beauty.
And thank you for your kind compliment. I will pass it on to my crack staff of minions who, though very hard working, get very little praise from me. Thanks again, and ...
Thanks for visiting.
