And I've got the shits with them because sometime between January and now half the stuff I've got saved disappeared... seems a lot of the early stuff has been removed from the server.

Sorry you lost content. Long ago and far away I worked on a disk farm. Disk space now is absurdly cheap, hence "The Cloud". All of which again points to intent. I suppose I should be grateful that my account hasn't been permanently blocked. But for me the most fascinating thing now about this subject is the reaction I got following yours. I've heard how childish and vindictive some of the user cliches can be here, is this a prelude? Perhaps I should delete this post altogether Thanks for visiting. tgd
