Well, I've just been writing so I may be annoyingly opinionated here, but ... in my view, she was simply window dressing in that movie. Perhaps, in some sense, the epitome of window dressing that was never again approached in the movie industry. But still, decoration. Pussy Galore really was a ground breaking, years ahead of its time, character. Didn't know the "Honey Ryder" name though. Way to go, Sir Flemming. On a better note, go to your goog and search for "Sean Connery Ursula Andress beach" in images. Look at the B&W ones. Remember, Dr. No was the first Bond film. 1963. Connery was 18 months away from simply being a champion body builder. Andress was just another bit European starlet. But there are a series of pictures of the two of them on that famous "dragon" beach, playing around between shots, where Connery is doing handstands (one of the reasons he was so good is that he was very coordinated). There are side shots of Ursula looking at Sean like He is the sex god. Wonderful, candid moments in time. For me, they are the best thing to come out of that movie -- other than the series itself. This Largo dude is pure evil. In a later scene we hear her scream from behind the closed door of his cabin. When he opens the door he tells her, "Do not live in hope, my dear. There is no one to rescue you."
