OK, so what are you driving at? It appears to Me the pace of blogging has really slowed down. I remember reading a comment a little while back where someone indicated the site had become boring (imagine) because 'recent posts' had the same blogs showing up for days. I've noticed that. Most of the ones I see this morning are ones that were there yesterday. Yeah, the blogs are moving at a snails pace. I counted the actual blogs that were posted yesterday, Dec. 15. Between 'Recent Posts' and "New Blogs', there was a total of seventeen (17). And of those 17, I bet a few were from the same blogger? If I remember correctly, yes. Maybe it's just Me, but this seems pretty weird compared to yesteryear when the blogs moved fairly quickly. Well, it is the holiday season so people are busy with other things .... Even us pervs. Yeah, there is that. I also shudder to think how many people (bloggers) have thrown up their hands with ALT's many faults and said, "Fuck it - I'm outta here!" Fewer members certainly would equal fewer bloggers. I remember many bloggers who have vanished into the sunset. OK peanut gallery ..... Have you too noticed the blogs moving along like cold molasses? If so, what is your hypothesis on the cause(s)? Make Women Female Again

It has definitely slowed down. I'm not really interested in posting these days. It seems the blogs have just become a place for people to bitch and moan, post pix of themselves, and post other people's quotes and writings. The comments are just people scrambling to get points, and not even engaging with anything anyone writes. The community just seems dead. You found parts of me I didn’t know existed and in you I found a love I no longer believed was real.

I have been here for I believe 12 years , found 2 beautiful subs on the site one was with me for 8 years. However the site has changed over the years. I remember a much more active blogging site and more activity in the chatrooms too. The site seems to have more and more restrictions, you use to get 5 free chats a day even if you were a non paid member, now I can't respond to anyone unless I am a paid member much less initiate a chat. The company owning this thinks they can get more people to pay by doing that but to me it seems like it's driving more away. Plus the influx of fake profiles, omg, it's ridiculous. The company can easily do a google image search and see the pic is off a porno site before they even approve the profile.

Yes, I agree the blogs have slowed down. I have watched the blogs for a long time but until recently just started posting myself. I think people leave for many reasons, Maybe the fake profiles, Maybe they found someone, Maybe they have other things going on in their lives, Or sad to say maybe they have passed away. You just never know. I enjoy reading the blogs its pretty much all I do here. I never do I.M. I do speak with a few friends here and there and occasionally write a story. Smiles to you Plz. L

It is almost winter time, i go in hybernation real soon.... But, i do blog, when i am in de mood, of have the energy for it. The blogs are not that interesting anymore, i mean, i want to be invited to think about things, not just consume away.... Love some blogs and thats it. winter time and a bad management on this site, maybe it are the Russian? Or the Chinese?

I agree a lot of those components were here, but they were fewer and in between posts. I LOVE the posts where people write about their lives, their experiences in BDSM, politics, in essence things we can engage in. Jenny's posts about being grateful and about our days, always makes me stop and think. Reminds me to think about what I have and I stop and comment. When people post a pic of the genitals or breasts, I'm all meh. If I was interested I could go to their profile and check those out. I like to get to know people, intelligence is something I find attractive in partners and in friends. A sense of humour and I am all over it LOL I miss some of the bloggers as well, I wonder what has become of them, and miss their input in this little community. Sigh You found parts of me I didn’t know existed and in you I found a love I no longer believed was real.

I'm afraid I'm one of the ones that has slowed down! I notice my last post was way back in October! I keep thinking I will get around to posting something but the lack of pace in the number of posts suggests to me that there is barely anyone left either reading or writing. I will post something soon but I'm determined not to write about how crap this site has become... ...And often that's about all I have to say! So I stay schtum!

I've noticed the slowdown, and I contribute to that. I just haven't had much time to get over here, flesh out a post and post. I've got a blog in the wings, but now to just make the time to *write* it out. One of these days.   Ars longa, vita brevis - Art is long, life is short
